INTERNET ROMANCE DROP PUNCHY DEBUT SINGLE ‘MY DOG’S A LIAR’

Internet Romance are Naarm/Melbourne’s newest addition to the heavy-rock scene as they dropped their debut single out into the world earlier this month titled ‘My Dog’s A Liar”. The track's name alone is enough to peak interest as we are welcomed with a fast paced, crunchy tune that has quickly become our favourite and will soon be yours too. A band that can bring good humour and mix it with the intensity of a catchy hook is one that is known to go far and it is so easy to see this quartet become big in their scene pretty fast.

Internet Romance is made up of Tilly Abdallah, Harris Abdallah, Dan Murphy, and Kayne Smith who all do their part in making this debut track an absolute banger for the rock/punk community and truly shows off their immense talent and what they can do not only separately but together as a band.

A chunky bass line kick starts the action before the guitar and drums kick in to bring the sound full circle. Vocals from Tilly come in at the perfect time adding a more punkish element to fill out the tune. It’s a track that will have you headbanging from start to finish - the rhythm mixed with the riff is pure punk rock and will remind you of the gritty 90’s where grunge and punk rock ruled the world. The track slows down for a tempo change in the bridge before exponentially speeding up for one last punch of the chorus that erupts into an explosion of punk goodness. 

“My Dog’s A Liar” runs for around 3 minutes but we are dying for more. Internet Romance can write an infectious as fuck single that seriously has us here at Electric Dreams Media addicted. We cannot wait for all future releases and to see where this fantastic new band will go in their new venture.
